Spaces Website
n introductory website about the offline interactive project Spaces. It provides access to several types of information including reading and conceptualisation of the theoretical project, web links, information on the creators, etc. but the most interesting aspect is undoubtedly this introduction as it provides a first level of 2D immersion, as the four icons representing each space (submetaphors) contain an animation and become a button to take us to the four sublevels with explanatory text, images and textures used in the application and other interesting information on each space to be explored.
Finally, and perhaps the most useful tool in not immediately getting lost in cognitive saturation, is the opportunity to explore a browsing map that explains and illustrates each part. Within the interactive content, and in a completely 3D environment, it is possible to move around this browsing map in 2D, view the memory of the project and pause the browsing and restart the game whenever we want. The application was created using a mixture of different technologies and programming languages (Flash and Director animations, html text, actionscript code – Flash – and lingo code – Director – which is interconnected and 3D with optimisation plug-ins for browsing over 360 degrees – ADN.
